WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE YOUR HOROSCOPE DONE?
So you have read the Sun Sign section of the newspaper and magazines and you find the information rarely seems to fit your day, week or month, right? Now you think Astrology is not for real so why waste your money on a professional Horoscope reading because it will be more of the same.
WRONG
The planets in your Birth Chart all represent different facets of your psyche but won't be the same as others of the same Sun sign. In fact, the differences can be major. This is the reason Sun sign columns are such a disappointment and tend to be relatively meaningless in the day to day reality of your life and why most people do not understand or know very little about Astrology. This is the reason many North Americans have been sceptics.
Having your Horoscope done by a good Astrologer will give you an intimate look at all aspects of yourself. It defines you as a unique individual. Would it surprise you to know that even identical twins have different birth charts? This is because they are not born at exactly the same time - very often they can be 10 minutes or longer apart in their birth.
This is one of the reasons Astrologers want to know your EXACT time of birth (to the minute). The closer you are to your birth time, the more exact the reading will be.
The bottom line is that we each have a soul - this is the spiritual side of us. Our bodies are the physical side of us. Even cloning, though in all ways the two physical bodies are identical, each body would have a different soul. There could be marked differences in personalities.
There are many different reasons why people have their Horoscopes done. Perhaps one of the most fascinating reasons is because the birth chart can predict your future! The more accurate your birth time is then the more accurate the prediction will be of the timing of events to come.
You might ask about FATE vs FREE WILL. Astrologers believe that there is only free will and that we will always have a choice{s} in our direction. The birth chart is like an individual road map of issues and obstacles that we will encounter at pre-determined times. How we decide to deal with them is up to us.
There is one other factor which plays a role and that is whether your Horoscope is done by a Western or Eastern Astrologer (Vedic). Western Astrology is more commonly used in North America and Europe and Eastern Astrology is practiced in India, however, a growing number of Astrologers in North America are learning Eastern Astrology as well. Both types of Astrology will be accurate. Western Astrology is more concerned with the psychological make up of a person and how issues and events will affect them. Whereas Vedic Astrology is more concerned with your talents and liabilities and where they are most likely to lead you. There is no emphasis put on your psyche but Vedic Astrology has different techniques for prediction and should be very accurate as well. Of course, there are other differences in the information that is acquired and will also be very useful to know about. Both Horoscopes will be accurate information about you.
The biggest difference between the two types of Astrology is that Eastern (Vedic) Astrology uses Sidereal time to calculate the Horoscope whereas Western Astrology uses Tropical time. WHAT DO QUANTUM MECHANICS + ASTROLOGY HAVE IN COMMON?
Dr. Robert Lanza, in his book entitled, "Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness Are the Keys to Understanding the Nature of the Universe", teaches that life and consciousness are fundamental to the universe. It is consciousness that creates the material universe, not the other way around.
In his book, Dr. Lanza points to the structure of the universe itself and implies that intelligence existed prior to matter.
The theory implies that death of a consciousness does not exist. It only identifies with a thought because people identify themselves with their body. Though the physical body will die, our consciousness does not.
If the body receives consciousness in the same way that a cable box receives satellite signals then consciousness does not end at the death of a physical vehicle. The cable box will not operate in the physical world when it is unplugged. But it is still capable of receiving satellite signals when it is plugged back in. In fact, consciousness exists outside of constraints of time and space. It exists anywhere: inside the human body or outside of it.
This brings up the issue of reincarnation. If our consciousness can exist outside of our body even after the physical body no longer exists, can it enter into a new physical body at a later time? Most Astrologers would say yes to this question. Dr. Lanza's theory could explain why it is possible for mediums and channels to communicate with our loved ones after they have passed over.
Dr. Lanza goes on to say he believes that multiple universes can exist simultaneously. In one universe, the body can be dead and in another universe it continues to exist. There is an abundance of places or other universes where our soul could migrate after death, according to the theory of neo-biocentrism.
The energy of the consciousness potentially gets recycled back into a different body at some point and in the meantime it existed outside of the physical body on some other level of reality and possibly in another universe.
